    TS..
On this I agree with Cyraxx mas maayo gyud ang freelancer, dako pa ka makuha nga money, kaso lang that is if you have a competitive product nga makasustain para sa inyong operating cost and for the long term.
Facebook also has his point and have the experience to back his perspective.
Si ofw_cebu pud is true to his words about venture capitalism, the financier will actually have the final say, it's his money and the risk is his (most of it).

Go on with your plans bro!
Remember, you have someone who is willing to put up a capital for your team - for your future projects. That person believes in your team bro, why go on the other way?? Don't you believe with your skill and your teams capability?
Bro, this country needs more entrepreneur mindset. You don't have to be just a freelancer just what others say in here. Trust me! Trust with your instincts! If you really think you can do it, then DO IT!

Bro, have this businessman mindset or you'll remain a freelancer forever. If you don't do it, the Philippines will have full of great IT professionals who remains freelancers forever.

Bro, I am not discouraging anyone being a freelancer but it's now time to GROW UP into a more mature organization. Trust yourself. I know you can do it.

but i need ideas on how much we should share a project profit with our partner. is it fair if we have 40% of the project price, and 60% for our partner?

we're IT/ComE/ComSci graduates by the way. we're not really well-versed with the business side of things. we're taking baby steps so we can fulfill our dream of having our own business. and make it fair for us and our partner.

i'd appreciate if you guys can give sample scenarios regarding this. hope to hear your opinions about this.

Management ang pinaka importante bisan unsang business. it is good to have a management based on Common Sense principles not bookish.

If wala mo expenses bro. like sweldo. better ayaw nalng mo og partner og financier.

Wala man gud cost ang paghimo og program, oras ra gyud ang puhonan. Kamo ra ang alkanse
siya dawat ra limpyo nya wala siyay gasto.

But he offers you some promising return like maka assure siya na siyay mangita og customers in short siyay salesman.
well why not. ang lisod man gud sa kani na industry is ang sales talk you really need to know how to convince the customer.

Kay kasagaran customers ani is kanang naay mga previous software na wala nay maka support sa ilang system or
kanang na tagam sa uban companies/freelance.
