from cebu you can take a boat ride everyday mga 10pm kung roble shipping.pwede sad ka mo sakay ug weesam express,kinswell, and suppercat going to ormoc.inig abot nimo sa ormoc sakay ka ug bus or van (duol ra ang terminal sa pier) if not naay duptours or jd bus mag huwat sa may pier.tag 120 ang plete.if land connect ka sa supercat then tag 100 ra.naa pud sulpicio lines na direct cebu-tacloban.

i spend at least 3 weeks a month sa leyte particularly sa palo since i got assigned there last march and uli ko dinhi sa cebu every month.not very familiar with hotels since i stay in our office para tipid.if trancient ka you can stay sa mga gov't offices (gov't center) in palo.only a few mins ride to tacloban city proper.you can stay at DEP ED (btw, duol ra sa mac arthur park) for 200 pesos kung aircon and 150 pesos for non aircon.pm lang if i can be of asistance.

ill be in tacloban next month and i need infos about the place....
is hotel alejandro a good place to stay? is it safe? is it haunted?

sorry karon ra ko ka-balik sa istorya. as what my officemate told me bout hotel alejandro, ok man daw ang mga rooms ngadto, galing lang ang naa sa frontdesk medyo karaan na. mao ra na iyang gihatag nga info sa hotel alejandro.

luciang. I asked my friend about that hotel. He said that while he was there, it was nice daw and that theres no creepy stuff goin on. so you don't have to worry about it..

okay raman pud daw ilang services just don't expect a 5-star service...

just don't expect it na highly urbanized ang tacloban.somewhat it reminded me of colon when i was much younger then (opinion lang nako layo gihapon sila sa old colon).means of transport within the city is tricycle and jeepneys.sa akong experience that better speak to them in tagalog kay mas naka sabot sila although some speaks cebuano especially ang naka study sa cebu.wala lay malls na kasuruyan.but i do drop by sa Bo's coffee or gloria jean's coffee near the former DWU.naa chowking,jollibee,mcdo and a good number of local restaurants with in the city.ok ug signal ang globe & smart but limited coverage sa sun cell.expect dead stops during your 2hr trip from ormoc city to tacloban.in case of medical emergencies naay pud mga hospitals within the city.if i'll be in tacloban by that time i can be of assistance if not provide you with security just in case.much much on night life didto although naay mga disco bars.expect lang pud na mingaw ang streets inig mga 9pm. a good number of banks are available so you got nothing to worry about atm transactions. these are my observations sa city although wala pa gyud nako ma reconnoiter ang place ug maayo. hope this would do for your brief stay there.
