If i were you TS, since i know you really want to try Mac OSX of course the gorgeous MBP w/ RD. Ok raman Laptop kung mag Programming ka but doing programming on your laptop in a long period of time can lead to back and neck pain. So here's my solution and quite good idea..
    1. for portable and desktop replacement Go for LAPTOP which MBP w/ RD. if you really want to prioritize programming.
    2. Buy a Good Keyboard for comfortable encoding kay since your hands always at the keyboard buy this KB --->Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - English (USA) - Apple Store (Philippines)
    3. Buy Wireless Mouse which is Magic Mouse
    4. This is the sweet spot for programming, get a decent External Monitor since doing programming in small 13" is not good in your eyes esp. close range.. so get ext. monitor and place it at the back of you MBP then adjust it above ur MBP but not too much.. don't place beside your MBP or else you will get terrible stiff neck. here's my recommendation ---->21.5" Class LED / HDTV Monitor | Samsung Office T22B350ND
    5. Of course to avoid getting Backpain and Stiff Neck, get Computer Chair w/ Neck and Back support. That's all i can share for you TS.
Anyway why getting Gaming Laptop or RIG were you have plan to get PS4?so get MBP and don't worry for the developers tools since you can run dual bootcam and i know Eclipse is compatible to Mac OSX! Goodluck TS! :

^ naa gud q nabasahan nga ang lowest ghz state sa T versions are lower compared to the lowest states so non-T.. ang non T is 1600mhz ang lowest, then ang the T versions are lower pah.. mao nka power saving niya.. I cant really recommend pud ug Hitachi sir kay ang RMA rates sa Hitachi ang highest.. although mka.argue ka nga sa shipping ang problema..pero being highest murag lisod katuohan gyud..

^ kaning HDD, daghan kaayo ni factors... its not only on the physical condition of the drive but also, on the power that is being feed to it... kani, lisod ni kay dili makita... ako, dili ko choosy sa drives man gud maong, sa akoa na case, mas better akoang gipangita kay ang value for the money which is, Toshiba (Hitachi)... barato then dili ta mag ugtas ug huwat compared sa WD Green (got 1x1TB here also for the WD Green)... para nko ni ha... for sure, dili ni mo carry sa tanan in general.

kaisa pa gyud ko namatyan ug HDD in my 20 yrs of this hobby of ours... Seagate Barracuda 40GB IDE (5400 rpm) to sya (1999 to na time frame)... less than 4 months nko, namatay. akoang gi pa ilisan sa PC Quickbuys... gi ilisan ra man nila pud...

Roundup: 12 HDDs with 2 TB capacity
by the way, sa kani na review sa HardwareLUXX naa sila'y admin error sa 2TB Toshiba (Hitahi) HDD... DT01ACA200... 64 MB ang cache ani nya. the same sa 3TB variant. ang 500GB & 1TB variants ang nag utilize ug 32 MB cache...

diri sa sa shanghai, got 3 Toshiba (Hitachi) HDDs na... 2x2TB (DT01ACA200) & 1x1TB (DT01ACA100)... naa pa ko'y old Samsung 40 GB SATA 1 pud... first ni na batch na naabot dha sa Cebu. na dala nko diri... wala pa gyud namatay hangtod karon... hehehe... then naa pud HDDs from WD (Green & Blue), Seagate Barracuda and Fujitsu...

for the "T" CPUs, for me lang, dili sya worth sa cost gyud... mahal man gud then hinay. negligible ra ang power consumption nya compared sa "non-T" variant sibling nya...

naa ko siblings diri na "Non-T" and "T" variant... a G530 (2.4 GHz on my entertainment/torrent PC) and a G530T (2.0 GHz on my file server)... both of them are running 24/7... power consumption on its actual power drain from the AC outlet, wala ko'y data ani nila... wala man kill-a-watt meter or equivalent... hehehe

D man guro lisod ang transition period from PC to OSX. Ang libog kay keyboard shortcuts ra, overall mao ra tanan. Ma familiarize ra gihapon na nimo in no time since permi man ka mag-gamit. In terms of your keyboard problem, I really don't see why maglisod ka despite the size. Soon, you'll realize dli ra magamit ang numpad, though dli na siya para sa tanan but it worked for me. Also, dli problema if imong keyboard mosiga ba or dli unless wala kaa nka familiarize sa keys. Besides, masigaan ra man gihapon na sa monitor.

D man kailangan retina MBP imo kwaon, pero it would be awesome to get one samot na karon June refresh puhon if ever naa. Plug lang ug monitor, and external keyboard and mouse aron d magsakit imong likod. Portability is a must aron mka trabaho ka bisan asa.

Get a laptop or desktop that has virtualization support if imo jud career ang programming. MBP is good, pero regular MB (C2D or higher) is good enough. As for Windows laptops, bisan unsa kana mga bag-o karon. Make sure lang RAM is expandable to about 8GB or more para you can run whatever you need.

1920x1080 monitor, SSD pede ra if abot sa budget.

TS, asa ka nagkuha ana imong price list?

if 25k imong budget, pag intel nlng.

    Processor: Intel Core i3 @ 4.6k
    Mobo: MSi B75MA-P45 @ 2.9k
    RAM: 4GB @990
GPU: Power Color Radeon HD 7770 @4.5k
    HDD: 1.0TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm with 64mb cache = ₱3,000.00
Case: Trendsonic Flamingo w/ 650w PSU Generic
    ODD: Samsung 22x SH-S223 Sata = ₱850.00
Monitor: LG IPS234V @8.1k (Cheaper and better than SH-S223 since IPS iyang panel. )

You won't need a separate USB 3.0/LAN Card, naa nana sa motherboard, also ang kanang cooling solutions nmu, no need na cla.
Sufficient na ang stock cooler provided by Intel to cool your system. They're designed to do so.

Kanang Case imong napili, naa nsad na fan/s included.

Total of 25,940 if sa Gaisano Interpace ka mu palit, sa Country Mall/APM Mall(Across SM)/Insular Square/ug sa uban branches nila. lol

By adding only 750 pesos, according sa imong gi lista, mas nice na iyang specs since i3 na ka, nya better GPU, motherboard, and Monitor.

TS, unsa d-ay imong languages nga i program? I bet you can do it on a PC, not just on Mac.
You can dual boot your PC to run Mac too. para mka save ka money.
