Agree!!! mao jud nay problem bisan sa ato mga laws diri... Mas in favor and but-an ra kaayo sa kawatan...

So instead of being critical sa mga taga PCG ug BFAR who are risking their lives so that your neighborhood won't be filled with more drugs from china or taiwan, why not give them a THANK YOU? Sulod sa mo sa serbisyo, kamang sa mo sa lapok, sulay ug 6mos nga kasakit, trabaho mo ug layo nga gamay ug sweldo ug tagsa ra makita ang imong pamilya para lang sa kaugmaon sa mga taw nga di nimo gani kaila, sulayi ang kinabuhi sa mga nanerbisyo, then come back here and tell to the world how our brothers in the PCG sucks. thank you
Just wait for the results of the investigation. But ain't it strange how a fisherman's boat can outrun our coast guard ships?

You said "alleged" so I say wait for the investigation? If we can see the video, then it will be clearer what happened.

and they already did it a several times.
Mao kaha, mga pirata lang ba diay ang kamao mo-bit2x ug armas.

For the nth time the US said it won't condemn the Philippines in the shooting... Now if Taiwan still push on with their rhetoric, they would lose support of the US and will be open for invasion from the ainland, South Korea won't help them, Japan would surely not help them soon Taiwanese would be boat people in the SCS...

Meanwhile to ease the pressure in the Philippines, Japan had arrested Taiwanese Fisherman near Senkaku Islands...

Taiwanese boat trespasses in Japanese territory, captain arrested

A Taiwanese fishing boat was detained by Japanese authorities as it was caught trespassing in Japanese waters near Ishagaki Island on Tuesday. The captain of the 48.25-ton “Cheng Chang Fa No. 2″ was also placed under arrest, according to the Coast Guard Administration (CGA).

The CGA said that the boat from Kaohsiung was caught by a patrol vessel from Japan’s Fisheries Agency, and that it was operating 46 nautical miles southeast of Ishigaki Island which is 250 kilometers off Taiwan’s east coast. Shipmaster Sun Chu-min admitted that they trespassed and he will be released after paying the fine of 4 million yen. Fisheries Agency Director James Sha said that the boat was trespassing beyond a “temporary law enforcement line” that indicates where Taiwanese fisherman can operate in.

This is the first time that a Taiwanese fishing boat was detained by Japan after the signing of the agreement between the two countries that designates an area in Japan’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ) as a jointly managed water and where reciprocal fishing is allowed. Even though Ishikagi Island is within Taiwan’s 200 mile EEZ, the agreement they signed doesn’t allow Taiwanese fishermen to operate near the Yaeyama Island chain, which includes Ishigaki. The bilateral fishing agreement temporarily put on hold the ownership claims of both countries over the Japanese-controlled Senkaku Islands, known as Diaoyutai in Taiwan. China also claims sovereignty over the resource-rich islands.

Sakto jud ka bay/// being cross on your bow or head to head situation... dili lalim... even seafarers can tell unsa ilang bation ug naay barko mu attemp ug cross sa ilang BOW with a very small CPA(Closest point of approach) or head-on situation... and dont compare between being rammed at sea and being rammed in land... lisod kaayu ug naa ka sa dagat... kay ug tarong silag intention unya innocent sila,,, why point their bow to the PCG...pointing your bow to other ship, is like sending a safety THREAT to them.
