thanks for the tip , bro. Anyway, just wondering, did you take your 1st year law at USC? How's the JD in UC? please give some input in comparison with USC and UC law... I believed UC law is starting to get attention esp in cebu

DIfference? Hmm... In my own perspective kapoy ang UC kay cge ramog orals... the teacher to student ratio is low that's why every meeting mapusilan gyud ka prmi... Sa USC imong mga teachers are the best of the best that Cebu can offer... UC is fairly new though, so I can't compare. But they did have two topnotchers in a span of 10 years so that should be thought about as well.

The JD program? Since pioneering batch mi, kami ang gihimog guinea pigs... Nig 1st year wala ray difference sa LLB... but nig abot nimo og 2nd year, that is where everything becomes complicated. Imagine LLB curriculum + 12 units additional elective subjects + 240 hrs internship + A Thesis that you will need to defend when you reach your 4th year. You will need to finish those for 4 years the same as LLB... Thus, crammed ang imong mga subjects within your 4 year stay... You'll take up some 3rd year LLB subjects nig 2nd year nimo.

Pros: Improves your writing skills. A plus when you take the bar.
Cons: Time constraints. I had to sacrifice time to study my major subjects to draft my thesis.

Realization: LLB or JD is a matter of personal preference. If d ka ganahan og hasol, then I suggest you take up LLB.

5:30pm to 9:30 pm Mon-Fri.. then naa Sat classes,uban subject...

5:30 TO 8:30 ra ang weekdays.. then afternoon sa weekends.. depende sa subjects..

I am a JD student of UC College of Law and my girlfriend is an incoming 4th year sa USC College of Law. Funny thing is dha mi nagkauyab sa USC college of law back 3 years ago... For me JD is much harder. You will be exposed to things that are not available for LLB. Either way, I am telling you it is no walk in the park. But as long as you're determined, then you can achieve your goals.

Tips though if you're going to USC College of Law.
1.) It will test your courage, for oral recitations are always something to be scared of... especially if you're not used to public speaking
2.) It will test your character, leave your pride at home... you will be insulted if you come unprepared.
3.) Law school is a jealous mistress, you will be spending your 4 years studying at least 8 hours a day... you will not be able to go out as you used to... your friends will hate you... you wont be able to go on dates as much with your girlfriend and yes, cutting down on facebook hours..

But I tell you, what is 4 years of sacrifice compared to a lifetime of happiness.
