Soul winning is a word similar to CONQUERING say a mountain , a life , etc .

You cant and will never be able to CONQUER it .

Same thing with SOUL WINNING . People might have thought of WINNING the soul of an individual because he or she now reads the bible and proclaims the Word. That is not the entirety of the case . I know a lot of EX CONVICTS na pwerting buotana sa sulod murag mga santo , makapawng ug kandila and that is their choice . A choice that will make their lves easier INSIDE because of religiousity and buotan na daw .

When they got out .... I made a bet of someone , 3 of them actually . I lost . Gipapili sila ug sa lamesa . BIBLIYA o .45 , armas gihapon ang gi pili because wala na man sila sa sulod .

WINNING SOULS on your own definition and leverage is nothing more but of CONVERSION . You only create RESERVATIONS on that and hasta ang mga RCC nuon ma among sa pag label sa NON CHRISTIANS about HYPOCRISY . In RCC ... one has to be accepted through BAPTISM and undergoes the SACRAMENTS and be showed what it is to become a CHRISTIAN . To be taught and caught with values , raised with teachings and good news and lastly to be incorporated and be reminded of their duties and obligations being a good Christian and honest citizen and no more and no less.

Still with the FREEWILL to listen , learn and act upon on what was grasp.

one lesson in life that i always take with me is to "never assume what people need"..
i dont see any RCC trying to win people's faith, i dont know why that is so..
kasabot kayo ko why the aggresiveness of some Christians (esp. non-catholics) in soul-winning....because they read the bible and found out it's the Lord Jesus who commanded them to....

    @spring

yes bro, we cannot change people's lives. Atong mabuhat is only to share, it's the holy spirit's ministry to work through them afterwards.

i dont know about that.. Jesus was not trying to win souls as far as i know, he just reminded the people the true meaning of God's words..

    Thanks.
mods, i wonder about confession to priests.....how do they know the formula why a specific repitition of "hail mary", "our father" can appease specific sins? or gi assume lang nila nga mao na?

My question sa RCC and their common practice which really bothers me a whole lot... kanang mamaligya sulod sa simbahan. Even the most prestigious Church diri sa NYC (St. Patrick's Cathedral) naay tindahan sulod sa simbahan mismo. It was written in the Bible nga dili maninda sa sulod sa simbahan... si Jesus mismo nanghagis kay naay naninda sa iyahang balay. Why is this?

I don't know if this question has been asked yet or not.

Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?

sa Sto.Nino diay kay naa say tindahan sa sulod.

  9. #6299
Yeah! Naa. Sa Cathedral kay sa kilid. Di dyud sa sulod. Sa simala sad sa sulod.

Well, I think there are stores to generate income for the church since daghan man bayaran like employees and electricity.. etc.

As for the why sulod sa church. Maybe wa nay available space and diha ra? I donno.

i guess ang naa sa bible kay mga different kinds of baligya man to not related to the church mission..
ang naa sa mga simbahan nga mga tinda with relevance man sa gitudlo sa simbahan, mkatabang sad sa pagsangyaw sa maayong balita..
hehehe but i dont know, after all im not a Catholic..
