i think free will is a concept...we cannot prove its existence nor disprove, as there is no proof to disprove nor prove it.

In my own experience and observation, we are given the freedom to choose basing on God's plan or decision. It is like the concept of the Garden of Eden wherein we are free to do anything as long as it is inside the Garden, and refrain the forbidden fruit.
A friend of mine shared to me that he has an extra marital relationship, a subordinate/officemate. He asked for my comments or advice, and I told him, since God allowed you to sin then do what you want... as long as you know the consequences, and be sure that you are not caught, or get out of the relationship before it is too late.
To summarize it all, Free Will is not Absolute, but Relative....
If free will is true then religion is not.
If religion's fate/destiny is true then free will is not.
simple as that.
some posts are just like....
yeah free will! it exist because it's free! >.<
Before you judge others or claim any absolute truth, consider that you can see less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum and less than 1% of the acoustic spectrum. As you read this, you are traveling at 220 kilometres per second across the galaxy. 90% of the cells in your body carry their own microbial DNA and are not "you". The atoms in your body are 99.9999999999999999% empty space and none of them are the ones you were born with, but they all originated in the belly of a star. Human being have 46 chromosomes, 2 less than the common potato. The existence of the rainbow depends on the conical photoreceptors in your eyes; to animals without cones, the rainbow does not exist. So you don't just look at a rainbow, you creat it. This is pretty amazing, especially considering that all the beautiful colors you see represent less than 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Imagination is Everything. It is the preview of life's coming attraction. And once we accept our limits, we go beyond them...
...because our mind is the most sacred place in this world. So guard it ferociously.
I really don't get the eve and fruit thing. If it was so bad for them, why put it there in the first place? and free will actually contradicts the idea of god's plan. If naa nay plan, then there's no free will because supposedly god knows your future because it is based on his plan.
If we have total free will, we might become gods as well. Put it this way, we are gods within our own limited boundaries.
illusion? i don't think so.
it is us, humans, who create constraints. mao ning naay mga balaod ug policies nga niexist nga atong gisunod.
ang purpose? to maintain order.
maong makaingon guro ta nga limitado ra atong freedom... it's because of those.
kay if wala na sila, ambot lng... gubot jd sigurado. because we are all capable of doing anything, good or not. and i believe THAT is free will. right there.
