1701Q ang quarterly and 1701 ang annually.
for annual income tax returm (1701), needed ang info sa imu latest CEDULA. number, issue date and place rmn siguro to kinahanglan.
kuwang pana og isa sir, kana monthly income tax. murag 2551-M (Monthly Percentage Tax) pero di ko sure if mao na gamiton for sari2x or convenience store. the rest of the forms, parehas rmn ta ky for sole proprietorship...

be careful sa receipts, book of accounts and pag-display sa imo COR, RF (renewal of registration with receipt sa payment) and kato orange notice to the public nga dapat mangayo og receipt ky dako kayo ang penalty. lupig pay maypa wa nag-negosyo ang penalty. hehe

sa book of accounts, naa dira inyo inventory sa sales. ibutang lang important details like name sa customer, address, date, OR number, itemized sales, percentage tax, VAT if applicable, etc... dayon naa pud na isa for debit and credit. dapat mo co-incide...
imong book of accounts should be updated daily gyud. if mag tax mapping (mag-inspect), dako kayo penalty PER PAGE.
kung unsa naa sa imo OR, mao pud na naa sa book of accounts.

i read somewhere, basta sari-sari kay di na kuno kinahanglan mo issue ug receipts...how true?

any legit business needs official receipts but I think exempted ang micro-businesses. mas mayo moask nlng gyud ka sir. if late application for authority to print receipts, penalty og 1k.

sari2x store gives us a picture nga small business lang mao siguro na pero a certain range of income siguro ila i-consider as micro-business or regular business. try ask sa barangay hall sir basi makatubag sila. naka-ask ko sa BIR sauna bout ana, familiar siya pero di daw sa ila man. he just mentioned local unit

actually, timing timing ra jud na. i've known bir examiners to tax map carenderias and sari sari stores. one might think nga dili coz mga dagko ra ila bantayan. but then again, bir has their own targets for collection. depending on the location of your store, it might be safer to be tax compliant.

    exactly @intel84

mao nang if there's something we aren't sure of, it would be better to ask bahala samokan sila ky during the inspection, this will always prevail---> "Ignorance to the law excuses no one".

by the way, sa imong ITR or 1701, naa pa kay mga i-attach nga supporting documents like income statement, ang isa ky makuha ra BIR nga form (nalimot ko sa term)

I suggest you hire the services of a professional. It might cost you some money pero wala nakay labad sa ulo. Kuyaw man gud masayup ka kay kung ma audit ka sa BIR human nagkasayupx2 ka, dakox2 jud kag mabayaran na penalty.

im in no way advertising my services here. i say the same thing to business owners.... what is spending a few thousand pesos compared to losing sleep and having no peace of mind. we hire yayas and labanderas to entrust housework and laundry because that's their expertise and it saves us time.
