For me hindi ako masyadong naniniwala na there's an infinite number of parallel universes, kasi may physicist (or scientist ba yun?) na nagsabi about parallel universes is parang nagdescribe ka ng painting with a billion number of paintings. Also since different actions can cause parallel universes, the number of parallel universes might be (number of sands in all the beaches in the world)^2, and much more higher pa!

Yung isa pang disturbing implication of parallel universes is our soul: kasi for example (god forbid) naaksidente ka tomorrow, patay ka na...so lets say we can travel across parallel universes and i-kidnap ka ng relatives mo sa isang parallel universe na hindi ka naaksidente and binalik ka, so you're alive technically? Ikaw ba talaga yun technically, in terms of your soul?

Also, if we accept that there are a near-infinite number of parallel universes then every scenario, even how absurd, can happen. So imagine nyo nalang ang example na ito and lets make our imagination run wild: lets say in another parallel universe buhay pa ang dinosaurs, and then in an another parallel universe they developed sentience, and in the million years of their civilization their science and technology are waaaaaaay advanced than ours, then in an another parallel universe they also thought about the possibility of parallel universes, then in an another parallel universe they are smart enough to make a device detect parallel universes then in an another parallel universe the device spectacularly failed and instead its a parallel-universal bomb that destroys ALL parallel universes. But we are still here, right?

I think parallel universes are just a way of making time travel possible, since time is fluid and since you can change things in the past, there are a limitless number of possibilities and outcomes in the future...

i am interested with the possibility of a PU, it just shows how we are just a part of a grand scheme of things...i wonder that if we expire in this particular universe, will we pick up life in another, like in a continuum?

What I do know is that parallel universes are more of parallel realities rather than a multiverse of universes.

Straightforward answer is, a MULTIVERSE CAN be a collection of parallel universes.

Think of a multiverse as a pouch of M&M's. Get a brown colored one. That one can be our universe and the other brown colors can be universes PARALLEL to our own. The other colors are different universes, and like the color dissimilarity, their universe is significantly different from ours.
