I read this somewhere: When you feel the urge to do it (whatever "it" is), delay the action for about 15 minutes. Perhaps do other things instead. That will kill the urge daw. Na apply ni nako sa eating. Lami na kaayo ikaon, but ako lang idelay. I do other things like cleaning, reading, etc. Mawala ra man ang urge to eat.
