I think you need to buy surge suppressor. From wall outlet diba you'll need extension wire for your PC, Printer, Speaker, etc. Why buy extension wire when you can use surge suppressor instead. I suggest also not to use AVR, use UPS. Having AVR, UPS surge suppressor is too much especially if you have main circuit breaker. Your House circuit breaker will trip if ever naay power fluctuation. your surge suppressor protects your PC for voltage spikes then if naa ka importante routine like office works, you'll need UPS for you to save your files if ever naa brown/black out.

The best thing to do is unplug telephone/internet cable if naa kilat. naa ko friend na 3 jud ka monitors nila ang nasunog tungod sa kilat. Ok ra nuon to kay under warranty pa ang mga units but affected jud ang ila business kay naghulat pa sila 2-3 months sa warranty replacement. Preventive lang jud. Dili man cguro mo last ug dugay ang kilat... ayaw lang i sugal ang imo unit basta bati ang panahon.

Ako setup ky wall socket - surge protector - avr - ups - pc. Una ang avr kaysa ups ky para maprotectahan ang ups sa avr. avr is cheaper to replace kaysa ups.
