Osmena has good political machinery, but Rama is not afraid of that.
After all, he came from BOPK, and knows how TRO works.
But of course it would not be wise for Rama to just relax.
I believe Rama to be the better person, and the better choice.
He's easier to approach, and RESPECTS people (which TRO clearly lacks).
He respects the law, and follows due process (unlike TRO who resorts to vigilantism).
AND, if you do not respect life, you might as well stop believing in God. I dare you.
TRO likes having the law in his hands, and will tote a gun if he has to.
Do not say that Rama does not have vision.
He does, and he has a number of projects to his name.
AND, you also have to consider that the City Council is dominated by BOPK.
These councilors do not think with their brains;
they think with their undying (and misplaced) devotion to TRO.
So, you cannot expect the executive department to function properly,
if the legislative department does not cooperate,
or at least THINK and VOTE on issues RATIONALLY.
Remember what happened to (Mandaue City) Jonas Cortes' last term?
This is what is happening to Cebu City now.
So, I believe that BOPK's time is over.
If TRO is elected back into office,
expect that the only development you will see is in SRP, not Cebu City.
Basic services will definitely suffer, and we'll... you can expect second-hand cars, too.
You can expect Abellanosa to get richer;
as well as Jun Pe, allegedly a very trusted person to TRO. (and for certain reasons)
I know TRO can be a good leader.
He has political will, but that's all he has, really.
He does not have people skills, and is not an easy man to approach to.
TRO is not a man that people RESPECTS; he's a man that people FEARS.
You know what is FEAR is like? Remember the MARTIAL LAW days.
Anyway, I think Rama will win this time, given his brand of public service.
After all, Jonas Cortes won the second time around, didn't he?
