It's not easy to point out which wars were actually religious because even the most well known religious conflicts - Religion was merely (but an effective tool) to advocate people to join the fight. It works like an advertisement. The motives behind those were usually political, territorial, wealth and power - just like all wars.
To name the most prominent religious conflicts
Islamic Expansion - Middle East, North Africa - Early Middle Ages - (Islam, Pagan)
Crusades - Middle East, Mediterranean, North Africa (Greek Orthodox, Catholic, and Islam)
Taiping Rebellion - China (Christian)
Dungan Revolt - China (Islam)
Thirty Years' War - Europe (Catholic vs. Protestant)
French Wars of Religion - France (Catholic vs. Protestant)
Second Sudanese Civil War - Africa (Christian, Islam, Pagan)
The Troubles - Ireland (Catholic vs. Protestant)
Chechen War - Chechnya, Russia (Muslim, Russian Orthodox)
Wars in Former Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzingovina (Islam, Roman Catholic, and Serbian Orthodox)
Israeli-Palestinian Conflicts (Muslim, Judaism)
To say that "No religion means peace" is wishful thinking and dishonest, and there is no need to enumerate the non-religious wars because the biggest ones that were fought throughout history has very little or nothing to do with religion.
even in the pre-known religion era, even before the time of abraham..
human always tries to group themselves then name themselves as they wanted it.
and human always knows that there is a more powerful entity than he is..only dishonest to themselves denies that more powerful entities exist.
then that belief made them create a religion of their own comfort
the mayans, the aztecs etc.
for a fact, only 7 PERCENT of wars fought was due to religion.
2 PERCENT of total war casualties died in these religious wars
Is Religion the Cause of Most Wars?

nganu kaha religion dayuy pasunginlan sa mga kagubot?
do you guys even know the difference between religion and the religious?
blaming religion because some of the religious failed to really understand what their religion was all about..
is a bit off, kung tao pa ang religion, muingun cguro nag nganu ako may pasunginlan ninyo oi nga kamu ray wala kasabut? Lol
karun, kay daghan mang kagubot tungod sa politics, so abolish politics pud? hahaha
again politics and politicians are 2 different things.
If there were no religion, we would be pagans, wouldn't we? And we'd worship goats and rocks. And besides, faith keeps people going. God has never showed his physical entity to us but we do believe in Him. Our belief also keeps us grounded.
