i just want to make it clear that im not talking about the sumilon resort im talking about the sumilon island there sandbar where the madlang people go, part gihapon sa sumilon resort but different area, its d only place where you can go swimming, no tables & chairs to put your things and no shades pra malandongan but the scenery is perfect, crystal clear water, but the sand dili pareho sa bantayan island or camotes nga murag sugar

Taas lang guru ka ug expectation miss. The "comforts" nowadays are all hogged up by the private sector, in this case, the resort. So it is quite considerate for the managers of the public area to actually maintain the place as it is. Baho ug tae? Try Olango Island. Even Bantayan Island has this area where locals take a dump. Hell! they own the place ever since capitalism brought tourists in these areas, so there is no power in these world to convince them not to take a dump. Unless authority decides to step in.

Cguro sa sunod na mga visits try to assess usa if maka sustain ba ang destination of your choice sa imung basic necessities. Also, expect less than what you see or what you hear, especially sa mga pcitures or heresays. Nowadays, you can only get comfort if you splurge money on it. It's reality.

    It's an island after all.

I was first fascinated by the island bcoz of its remoteness, tranquill water, and its white sand but that was 8 years ago, at that time the island was still run by Silliman U. The boat cost only 500 and there is no island fee. We stop going there after it was commercialize a few years ago. sayang.... it could have been nature at its best.

Very nice indeed, seeing live corals, wild clams and lots of fishes makes one wonder if this place is really in cebu? i just hope that we can maintain the ecosystem that is still very much alive in this part of the world.
