Can one person be a corporate board of director/ investor and at the same time have a separate sole proprietorship?

Corporate BOD or Investor to one company and doing a separate business as the sole proprietor?
Not an accountant but I don't see any problem with it.

There is nothing in the corporate law that says that it will prohibit you from doing so. Ok lang nga naa kay imong sole prop business while becoming either a shareholder or a BOD in a corporation.

Make sure lng that you are not using your position as BOD or any of the corp's assets in your sole business venture.
