glutathione is present in our body. it is naturally produced in each cell. it works as an antioxidant and way better than any other antioxidants. it cannot be supplemented because ready-made glutathione (iv or pill) can't get through the cell membrane. so it stays in your bloodstream and dinhi na mosuppress sa melanin production resulting to a lighter skin complexion.

so they don't work as an antioxidant, mao gitawag xa nga 'side-effect' nga pampaputi. heheheh. so kay less naman imong melanin sa skin, wala nakay protection from uv rays from the sun, too risky and mas prone to skin cancer.
