OT; I have a friend ,first timer soon to be OFW ,,,she's asking me regarding sa poea cebu daw kung paspas ba ang processing nila..and i said yes, but after reading ths article i doubt if they are really effective enough.
accrding too her wala pay siyay knowledge about how or what ang mga dilihubyo sa mga OFW.
it goes like these, She's a direct hired employee gihatagan na siya og working visa sa iyang employer,,, ipadala na diri sa cebu Without knowledge sa mga requirements og unsay inyang anggay buhaton...manawag siya sa poea ang itubag lang '' ari sa poea para matan.aw nato'' unsaon pagtan.aw nga wala paman ang WV? mao bitaw manawag para makahibaw kung unsay anggay buhaton og para dili na magbalik2x,layo bya jud intawn ila? how many times na daw siya nanawag sa poea same respond ghpon. I think me ang my friend will probably meet mrs.santigan soon.i'm curious about her.hehehehe

For first timer OFW what should she'd probably do after she'll received her working visa?
Is it necessary to have philhealth, SSS, etc when you go abroad?

to those who have a good heart,please help my friend....i can't help her,all i know is for tourist lang i don't have any idea about working abroad.
So i need Ts and all istoryan's opinions. TY

Ako pa niya mag Tourist nalang siya para wala hasol. Pareha na sa akoa sa direct hire pud ko sa Singapore. Ako i agi sa POEA would take 3 months to process kay daghan pangayoon requirements. Unya gidali ko sa employer didto sa SG. Ako gibuhat nag tourist ko. Lusot gihapon.

Diri nako sa Cebu naglukat ug OEC ug OWWA membership sa pag uli nako. Wala ko naka agi kanang uban na experience sa POEA. Ang problema lang gyud kay dugay kaayo ma process. Kay pa buang-buang pa na sila pwede man nako kasab-an na sila kay ako ug kita baya ang nag sweldo nila.

Bro gud morning..ask LNG Ko kng Dali raba ila renewal sa oec? Naa nko oec sa Manila poea head office Ko nagkuha last year.. Unsa ila reqmts, contract LNG?

Lisod mani siya etourist sir kay middle east man gud.. unlike sa singapore makasud raka dayon bisag show money, hotel reservation and roundtrip tickets makalusot naka sa immigration... gisuwayan na niya apply og tourist visa but wala ma grant iyang TV kay ang iyang sponsor kay naay prob...so they're trying to reapply for working visa but now she don't know if madayon ba siya..I've heard also na if direct hired daw lisod lisoron sa taga poea? is that true sir?


it did really takes 3 months para lng sa processing?
Tagal naman.....sure kaha ni.. muhilak jud akong friend ani. if ever.

I tried getting multiple OECs from POEA Cebu. The process took a bit longer than that in Ortigas Main Office. My suggestion for OFWs, if inyo bakasyon is less than a week and your departure is from Manila, better get your OEC sa NAIA na. Just be ready with all necessary documents.

Last nako kuha OEC, dali ra kaau, wa mn sad kaau tu taw gd. First time tu nako nga wala abti ug 1 hr sa POEA.

wa ra nay 1 day processing bai oi.. unsay pasabot nimo sa Renewal sa OEC? asa man ka nikuha sa imong OEC sauna? wa man koy problema sa processing sa POEA cebu. lahi-lahi lang guro tag expectation tanan. mas nindot hinoon kung maimprove pa, but so far wa koy problema sa ila. pinaka dugay nga processing ana diha guro nako kay 2-3 hours labi sa friday & monday kay daghan kaayo tao & sayo sad ko moadto sa buntag. last nakong kuha ( Multiple OEC 10 pcs) kay last year pa sa karaan building, wa pako kasulay sa bag-o nila..
