^^ Kung gusto ka ug full coverage each floor sis, maypa magbutang ka ug access point taga floor where your source connection is from 1st floor where your ISP modem located. Dapat ibutang lang sa central area on each floor para kuha jud ang coverage on four corners of each floor then i-cascade lang ang signal from bottom to top. Medyo dako2x jud ang expense (access point device each floor, source wifi router). Mas maau ipasurvey sa kaila nemo nga kahibawo mu-setup ana para actual makita jud ang covered area plan.

to whom it may concern.. if you read the whole manual sa routers anytype of routers naa nay naka butang na 30mtrs. or more and depende na sa lugar... kong naka cemento ba or naka kahoy and unsa pa na obstacles na agi-on sa signal mo hinay na siya.. so para nako t.s. sakto ang uban ipa check usa ang imong lugar para ma tagaan ka sa suggestion sa tech. pero i solved this many times like this situation na sa mga hotels na ako na install ug ap and routers.. baga pa gyod na ilang mga cemento.. pero i manage to bring the connection from 1st floor to 5th floor... so a house is just a easy set up.. ^_^.. either way t.s. bisag asa nimo ibutang ang router naay part sa house medyo hinay so sa part na hinay put a Access Point AP....

Maybe you can Help me decide?
Bro, para nako , mao ra jud ni imo option :

for stable connection : buy ka 1 wireless router and 1 WAP
connect both using UTP. ibutang ang router sa 2nd floor ug ang wap sa 4th floor.

another option: buy 1 wireless router and 1 wireless extender (with external antenna)
connect both using wireless. ibutang ang router sa 2nd floor ug ang wireless extender sa 4th floor. Make sure both have the same brands ( e.i. Netgear, etc...)

Also, remember wireless devices such as mobile phones, cordless phones, other similar devices maka interfere sa wireless signal. So i consider na nimo sa imo pag plano.
    getz ?
