Need help for my RAM's frequency

Hi ninyo mga bossing.. naa unta koy pangutana about ani akong RAM's frequency.

My RAM is 2 x 8gb Hyper X Black 1600mhz. At first default speed ra ang gi basa sa akong RAM which is 1333mhz and I already changed into 1600mhz sa BIOS setting. Now, ako gi check sa CPUZ karon sa Memory tab my DRAM Frequecy is already at 800mhz (x2 so it's already 1600mhz) before it was 667mhz man to.

And now nag check ko sa SPD tab sa CPUZ mao ni ang naka butang.







Max Bandwith nako is still 667mhz? which is 133mhz? pero sa Memory tab nakabutang is 800mhz naman. Nag libug gyud ko ani. Hehe

Also, ako pud gi check sa BIOS nako. Naka indicate man pud nga I am now using 1600 frequency but sa information sa RAM ako gi check ang speed daw sa RAM is 1333mhz. Nag libug ko kung asa ko tuo ani nila. Hehe. Please tambagi intawn ko ani ninyo para ma hapsay akong pang huna2x


Mao pud diay ni ang screenshot sa Memory tab. It shows nga it's already at 800mhz. That is why I'm a little bit confused now. Kung asay tinuod ani. Hehe






Ing-ana gyud na mga bossing? or naa pa koy angay i-set sa BIOS? like timings?

it seems your mobo recognizes your memory to be at PC3-10700/667mhz... it should be PC3-12800/800mhz....on the SPD.
now your running them at 1600mhz...11-9-11 timings
you can also enable XMP (extreme memory profile) settings in your bios for better performance....

here is my GSkill 1600mhz. looks like in SPD..



i overclocked it to 1866mhz.

now your running them at 1600mhz...11-9-11 timings

unsaon pag enable sa XMP boss? nag utingkay ko sakong BIOS wala man ko kita hehe

naa ra sa settings sa memory....sa akong Biostar its under DRAM TIMING Control...
naay manual(OC),XMP,SPD which is 1333/1600/1866...

boss, what would be the timings for my hyper x 1600mhz? basin wala ni nag ka dimao akong timings? possible bah? hehe

Also, wala man jud ko kita sa XMP boss asa kaha to ni tago

I just took a picture in my BIOS, under in DRAM Configuration..



It seems I already changed the speed into 1600mhz. Sakto ba na boss?


But when I checked the memory insight it shows that I am still at 1333mhz speed.




Unsa man angay nako buhaton nako boss para ma gamit nako ang 1600mhz nga speed?

naka SPD settings na....which are presets....
try changing from MANUAL to XMP...

pwede sad tagsa-tagsaon nimo ug manually set ang timings...

trcd =10
trp=10
ras=28
dram voltage=1.55volts

save settings...good luck...tagsa-tagsaa jud ug pislit ang mga settings...makat-on lage ka madugay....

depende pud na sa memory module kung mo-support ug XMP ang imo memory...


i found this on the net......which suggests that your memory is 1333mhz...

Ako gi check ang features sa Kingston Hyper X and it says "Intel XMP ready for easy overclocking" so possible dili compatible akong memory sakong FX-8120 boss? Tsk2

DDR 1866 <<< Dili mo on akong cpu sa 1866. I just cleared CMOS then changed it to 1600. Mo turn on na siya, I copied your timings.

ras=28
dram voltage=1.55volts

Possible ba madaut ang mobo if failed ang pag OC sa Memory?

nope..dili madaot...unless butangan nimo ug dako nga voltage like 2volts....

1.65volts is still safe...

you can try 9-9-9-27 timing...

Ngano mani boss nga ang naka butang sa CPUZ under sa Memory tab is 800mhz (1600mhz) which is correct BUT in the SPD tab it says PC3-10700 (667mhz) which is 1333mhz.

Also I checked the BIOS in memory insight my DRAM speed is still at 1333mhz.

I already followed the timings you have provided to me but unfortunately it still runs at 1333mhz. I just want to get the exact memory speed of 1600mhz. Coz I paid for 1600mhz not 1333mhz. Hehe
