    @ TS,

for the PSU, a modular or non-modular will do basta, swak sya sa need sa imohang components, sa "nice to have" or "wants" nimo ug most of all, sa budget. On the statement that "A bigger wattage PSU, the better"... it is only a "myth"... your intended setup may not even juiced a 500W PSU @ 50 % load. PSU's are rated on their maximum efficiency at 50% load. maong, suggest gyud ko na mag 350 to 380 W lang gyud for any normal build as long as that PSU is rated at 80 plus efficiency... ang dako na mo kaon sa PSU power kay ang GPU. the latest GPU technology now are not power hungry anymore... kanang rating sa website sa manufacturers kay dako kaayo na'g guard band kay they are assuming the power drawn by the whole system and on OC. kun mogamit ka'g PSU na higher rating, dili unya na maka abot sa 50 % load ang components sa rig nimo. dili nimo ma reap ang real benefits on the PSU's efficiency...

if you want to research, naa daghan technical write-up sa website about the actual power usage of a rig...

for reference, allow me to share... some links... mas dako pag kaon sa current HW ning gi gamit nila for the testing (previous generatioin technology man ni)... ang current HW ron kay electrical friendly na... from CPU, Ram, HDD to GPU...

take note sa ani na statement from BeHardware.com...
"On more normal configurations, tests showed that a power source of 250 watts was sufficient in the mid range, and 350 watts would be enough for the a high end configuration."
