This is the spirit of EDSA manifested in a political party. In 1986 ordinary men and women took to the streets to finally oust a dictator.

our parents ousted a dictator who has done a LOT MORE BETTER than the presidents who followed....

Remember they are guests, not members.

voted some not-so-well-known political parties back then, realized these are just people who possibly can't be voted OR rejected by COMELEC as congressmen and resorting to other means to get into "The Game"...

I think federalism would work if each concerned regions would have
an executive body which are responsible and people welfare oriented,
how about the ampatuan areas, what federalism would do with them?

To be honest, that is exactly the point I raised during talks within the party. That perhaps there are areas, the ones controlled by warlords that are not yet ready for federalism. Apparently the party position is that federalism will not happen in an instant. With the establishment of the Bangsamoro, however,there will be a partial federal system already in place, but one involving two states/regions, Bangsamoro and the rest of the country. Such areas would still be under the "rest of the country" state/region. Perhaps we can wait & see if the Muslims can govern their areas in a democratic manner and determine which of the two states/regions can manage the area better. Whatever path we take, the situation in these areas will be considered. At any point, the national government could always intervene.

At any rate, the massacre happened with a centralized government in place, so it does not follow that a centralized government could better take control of warlord strongholds. Perhaps even it was because we had a centralized government that Malcanang then turned a blind eye to what the Ampatuans were doing before the massacre.

change always comes from the bottom up. It's not gonna happen from a bunch of rich c*ck suckers talking about what's good for the country, because their plan will ultimately end into how they can make the country good for them. We've been to that scenario already on the 1986 "people power", and the results have been horrendous.

I seriously think that it would take a revolution to shake people off their apathy. This time a revolution that comes from the educated working people (which i think is non-existent in this country).

There's nothing wrong with "Political Families" as long as honest at talagang nagseserbisyo sila sa mga tao, like in Davao City the Dutertes and the Nograles are excellent public servants, dili pareha diri sa cebu na mga osemnas, garcias, ramas mga bugok na pulitiko, naga reflect sad na sa mga botante which is mga bugok pud.

Almost all the times,
political dynasties do show
how overpowering they are.
public servants?, I don't think so.

i would like to join this party if it advocates individual freedom and free market above socialism, welfarism, and statism... Unfortunately, this party's political platform clearly shows that is just the same statist approach in dealing with the lives of the people. Besides, anything that advocates democracy, advocates socialism... and socialism is communism's younger brother.
