I used to work for an Ayala Constructiom company doing one of their condos here in cebu. All I can say is pare2ha ra ang method sa pagtukod sa condo sa uban developer. Although mas strict sila sa standards gamai compared to others, pero mao lang ghapon, naay mga sipyat and bulilyaso sa building nga dli makita in the first look of a potential buyer. Sa maintenance nalang cguro na daogon nila kai dli man tihik ang ayala nga name relative sa uban local developers.
Asking if practical ba ang condo, I think yes, if you are part of the working class unya ganahan ka makasave sa travel and time expenses(especially sa time). Pero if you want to invest long-term, i'd go for house and lot guro. Much better for a family guy like you.
Condos have an appeal that traditional homes lack, as they are often cheaper, never require gardening and are often nearer to urban places than the suburbs. However, there are a few condominium disadvantages a prospective buyer should be familiar with.
