I have a hitachi 1tb 7200rpm as a slave drive where all torrents are saved. Its nearing 2 years na ok pa man so far. Had 2 hitachis before and buhi pa man kuno hangtud karon. My Samsung F3 1tb which was bought a year earlier is already showing signs of wear and tear. But it's way faster than the Hitachi, so more or less expected na sya.
Ive had lots of bad experience with WD blues (both caviar and scorpio)
Basically, anything made by hitachi, im buying over the competition if the price is right.
Add: Naa pa diay ko WD Scorpio diri on one laptop with clicking soung na pero working pa. Going 4 years na ni.Last edited by keropi; 02-13-2013 at 04:34 PM.

^ nice experience bro... so far, mao ang pinaka barato na akoang na kit-an na 2TB ron kay gi sale ang Toshiba (Hitachi)... 619 rmb each (4.3 php each)... final na akoang decision to buy either 1 or 2 2TB next week... plus a new 450 to 550W PSU for my PC based NAS... akoa ning ibalhin ang 330W PSU nya sa lain desktop... gasto nasad... tsk tsk tsk... paets...

finally, had placed an order at New Egg CN and they accepted it... ordered 2 x 2TB Toshiba HDDs and an Antec EarthWatts EA-380D Green PSU to power the pair... hope it will arrive tomorrow...
