    Default Crazy Perspectives

i want to open a thread with lessons from my experience...

    tanawa ni nga stock picture

a few weeks ago, i had a glamour/beach shoot sa usa ka beach dire sa cebu..

i did some shots from a position similar to that pic. using my nikon d5000.. crazy? i think its crazy because we know how dangerous salt water is to a non-water proof camera..

i believe that changing perspectives will improve your photography skill, plus it will also create an amazing picture. common shooting positions are standing and crouching are.... common, stale, and boring..

there are other perspectives such as bird's and worm's eyeview. and there are crazy ones that will pose serious hazard to either the photographer or his/her equipment... this is where the fun starts..

this is what happened : ( i will not post a pic of my shoot due to the sexy nature of the pics, for now use your imaginations and visualize a sexy girl in the water in the pic above)

using my d5000 with kitlens(para dili sakit if worse comes to worse), i shot my model(s) with the camera just 3 inches from the beach water level.. and yess, i can feel the waves just touching the bottom of my hand holding the camera. i am well aware that there are point and shoots that are water-proof, but quality wise, they dont come close to a dslr. i really really like to take shots from unconventional positions.. (so far, til now, my d5000 + kitlens is still in good condition and im still shooting)

pls share your shots taken at difficult angles or difficult positions.. (this is were the fun in photography start) and tell us why you had a hard time taking taking that shot.

mao guro pinaka safe nga pic ako ma share dire..

this is a very active golden retriever

what i did was i have to get down and dirty by lying on the ground since lisud au gamiton ang live view coz dili makita under the harsh sun and lisud follow sa subject.

i guess this will fall under as worm's eyeview

saw this on yahoo... this is extreme.. i really would discourage doing this.. lets just stick with hard photography angles and shooting positions..

pwede sab.. i just find it hard to use the dslr.. wala ka butangan sa flash unit for fill flash or sa remote flash trigger.. so di ko mugamit. i find hotshoe attachments critical in shooting under beach conditions.. harsh au lights so harsh sab au shadows kung wala flash

and i think grabe ka impractical and expensive kana underwater gear for a beach shoot. planning to shoot on forests next

how about this sir.. try lng.. a big, thin, durable plastic.. cover it to your cam to lens tip.. tie it with a rubber band.. a hole in your hotshoe.. suggestion lng...
