H (HSDPA) and H+ (HSPA) are not 4G. Only 3.5G. 4G = LTE or WiMAX

I don't get all this hype about 4G. Bisan max bandwidth sa 3G di paman gani ma-achieve..

I'd rather have fast and reliable 3G than all this marketing crap.

There's no use for new technology if ang backend / telco kay dili ka provide sa bandwidth and reliability.

It's like having a Ferrari but limited by Cebu highways.

Perhaps, there isn't a Globe 3G cell site in the area of Sarrosa which is strange knowing that it's less than a kilometer from I.T. Park

There isn't any Globe 4G yet in Cebu, only 3.5G (HSPA+ and HSDPA). Globe's 3G isn't consistent too. Speeds are not up to par with other countries 3G speeds.

It's not all about technology, it's also about the implementation. And that's something Globe and Smart haven't proven yet.

I agree with you. With the recent Globe upgrade they showed 4G bubbles all over the map of Cebu, however, it's not 4G rather 3.5G. That's misleading advertising.

The 4G Globe is promoting isn't really 4G. It's in fact 3.5G with speeds similar to 4G. 4G is LTE and WiMax. At the moment there's no LTE in Cebu yet.
