Hello all,

The term "computer technician" is fairly generic and can refer to any number of occupations within the computer field. Computer repair technicians, obviously, repair computers, usually dealing with hardware problems and not with software issues. However, most computer technicians handle both hardware and software matters, including software installation, upgrades and removal; initial computer set-ups; network set-up and configuration and security; and all-around troubleshooting. Many computer technicians serve as a company's mobile technical support unit, responding to requests for help and maintenance.
