Which came first, the Church or the bible?

The CHURCH came first.

Same thing ani na question.... simple ra jud kaayo . Gi tubag . Unless naay follow up question na maybe " unsya proof na nag una ang church kaysa bible ? " then another answer would be given . Pero kung ang diskusyon padong sa debate kay ang nangutana mag tuman s agusto n BIBLIYA ang nag una kay dili church , sayop na man na .

If it's not just teachings of men(Matthew 15:9) for it is clearly stated in the Bible(2 Tim 3:16) and it's not going beyond what is written(1 Corinthians 4:6), then i'm taking something out from the Bible, and i have sinned, and then i will believe. But, if it's not in the Bible, and is taught by ordinary men and not by Jesus and the Apostles, then those that teach Jesus-is-God is adding into it, obviously.

This is only to add knowledge about the truth of Saint Peter at least malamdagan ang uban nga nagbasa why Peter was considered the first pope sa RC.

Was the Apostle Peter the first Pope, the earthly head of the church according to the Bible? Was he the Chief Shepherd, the Supreme Pontiff, and Vicar of Christ? Is the Roman Catholic church the true church as proved by a succession of the Papacy since Peter? Does the Bishop of Rome have authority to declare church law? Does the Bible teach that the Papacy is the foundation of the church? What about celibacy? Should we bow to honor the Pope as the Holy Father?

i'm beginning to think you are looking for a debate instead of answers. This thread is not about who's right or wrong or who's church holds the truth...i would so much want to prove it to you but i'd rather not.
as what we always say, a Christian is the one who accepts Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior and believes that Loving others as ourselves would please God.. that should be enough for us really.

General Question sa mga Katoliko: Is there any Teachings, Practices, Doctrines, Processes, Theories, explanation, ideas etc etc of your religion(organization and its members) that you dont agree? or for you it should not be like that?

Im asking this because most of us here INHERITED our religion/Belief(gawas lan sa mga na convert), and we are here perfectly Defending our belief but we cannot deny that most if not all answers we have are all given to us by our religion. Thats why i wonder is there anything we did on our own to understand our belief or we are just merely Defending it.
