Inquiry on iCeleron G465 iGP performance on HD movies...

Peeps,

i'm eyeing on this CPU for another HTPC project... build would be a mini-ITX or a mATX... main application would be strictly a HTPC (HD movies & music... sometimes surfing the net, youtube & skype)... this is for my CO (commander-in-chief)... hehehe...

is the iGP of this CPU well enough for HD movies decoding?... TV size would be 32" or more...

kani lang diay akoang gipili kay 35W ra man max TDP ani nya then no discrete GPU... para dili kaayo dako'g kaon sa kuryente ang total system... naa lang sya TV/radio add-in card para pang local FM/AM signals... no need for the use of its TV function though...

I read the celeron4xx failed miserably on multitasking even on genral performance and idle power consumption bro. Wala man gyud sya EIST..

ah i see bro... use nya kay plainly HTPC ra bro... pang HD movies (DVD/ Blu ray), movie streaming & sound lang ang apps nya. dili sya gamiton for productivity apps... unsa kaha ang performance sa iGP nya for ani na apps... kun dili ni maayo, i'll just drop my current Celeron G530 puhon sa rig... yipee, naa ko'y rason napud na mag upgrade ko'g G870 lang for my entertainment & torrent rig... hehehe...

by the way, price sa bnew Celeron G465 diri kay around 1.2k php man maong na intriga ko kay barato ra...

by the way, these Celeron G4xx series are the lowest SB micro-architecture CPUs man pud... kani'ng G465 kay single core & dual threads ni sya... same iGP sa mga other siblings nya like the Celeron G5xx, Pentiums G6xx ang G8xx series man diay ni. kumbate ra gyud ni sya for downloaded HD movies... i'll use either the Jonsbo V4 or the M1 (discontinued Jonsbo model) chassis for this project para ready to add a discrete GPU ... just in case the need arises... like blu ray decoding na
