Revisiting old issues

Atong sugdan ug sayo, so far naa nabay ma expect natong kausaban?

- Mga photographer nga mo babag sa tunga2x sa parade
- Mga non-official nga photographer nga ni sulod sa parade route
- Mga foreigner nga mo samok sa dancer kay magpa picture
- Security sa premyo, if naa naba silay nindot kabutangan
- Chokepoints diha sa robinson, cor abellana, careta, mango ave

Suggested solutions from previous thread

- Photographers designated area, na instead of i allow sa parade route each ID will only be allowed on a certain area

kini raman ako nahinumduman...


Some questions i have -
1) Will the registration increase (again) this time?
2) Are we expecting changes sa security and crowd control?
3) Will photographers had matured this time?

Note: The reason why i created this is para makita nato if naa naba silay nabuhat nga action para sunod tuig... the issues are prevailing almost every year and its getting worst. this goes to SFI ug sa mga photographer and spectator...

This is not to bash anyone but simply to pinpoint what is needed to change...

sakto jud ni nga thread dah... i have been participating in Sinulog street parade crowd control since 2004 and it has been a problem jud sukad pa sauna.

- Mga photographer nga mo babag sa tunga2x sa parade (maglisod jud ta ug correct ani coz they have been issued access by the sinulog foundation. ang amo mabuhat ani kay pagremind ra jud nila nga naka obstruct na sila)
- Mga non-official nga photographer nga ni sulod sa parade route (aw kani mga non-official kay basta makit-an amo jud ni pagawason. ang problema lang kay daghan bagulbol kay ngano daw ang uban sugtan namo unya sila dili. kapoy cge explain sa amo part)
- Mga foreigner nga mo samok sa dancer kay magpa picture (as per phrase "to promote tourism abroad" mao na gitugtan na sila nga maka access. ang uban locals magbagulbol pud kay maka promote man pud daw sila sa tourism )
- Chokepoints diha sa robinson, cor abellana, careta, mango ave (i agree, have been assigned in Robinson's, Mango and Careta areas and it is really a problem until now)

and as for the crowd control, yes it has improved over the years. all we need is cooperation sa mga spectators. like before, sinulog foundation representative gave orders to seal off anybody to cross near robinson's as early as 8am. so we sealed it of not allowing anybody without the sinulog issued ID to pass through. ang nahetabo daghan kaau yawyaw amo nadawat sa tanan empleyado nagtrabaho sa robinson's etc kay late na daw sila... as for me, kabalo man sila na sinulog dapat unta they should wake up early. this will solve the hassle. at that time maski ang usa ka Red Plate nga vehicle nga naa pay elected local official wala jud namo gipalusot coz wala xa mu-fall sa category as per instruction sa sinulog foundation.

and i hope pud this time around the Sinulog Foundation will clearly identify access points and clearly give specific guidelines for all of us to make this Sinulog 2013 street parade better than before.
