Yes they are selling it but it is for pre-order once the units have passed testing and QA and are ready for full scale production and this will take at least a month or a few weeks at least.

that processor was formally announced by MediaTek in December 12, 2012. wala pay 1 month. dili na inana kapaspas makacreate ug production units ang mga companies even the giant companies like samsung or htc. prototype units mas matuohan pa tingali.

from 2 of the most respected tech blogs about android:
MediaTek launches world's first quad-core Cortex-A7 SoC, we go hands-on (video)
Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD: The first phone with MediaTek's MT6589

and if makapalit gani mog unit dayon inig system test ninyo using benchmarking apps dayon muingon nga quadcore inyong phone, have second thoughts. dali ra kaayo na iilad by just editing the build.prop file in the system partition. mao na daghan kaayog taw nailad anang mga s3 clones thinking they own a quad core phone.

Sorry, bro. i dont mean to be rude pero daghan najud kog gibasabasa about ani. naa koy gamay development experience sa android and pagchristmas, interested unta ko mubuy ug chinese phone nga sikat sikat like those released by cherry mobile or myphone which mostly uses mediatek processors para makadevelop ug cyanogenmod roms and marelease nako sa public hopefully (plus points sa resume? hehehe). sige tawn kog pangitag resources about mediatek and their codes and drivers, unfortunately, dili magrelease ug source code ang OEM manufacturers sa phone and even MediaTek itself which means that project is impossible. phones that have cyanogenmod support are a result of the phone manufacturer and the processor manufacturer releasing their source code and driver binaries to the public.

    example, sa akong phone:

my replica is recognized as Digitel Alps Iphone by google play. i thought dili nako mugamit ug itunes. but gamit diay gihapon nako akong music playlist using DoubleTwist player sa android. amazing.

my apps are arranged nasad same way sa iphone 5 nga hold and merge apps to create a folder. dali sad maa access ang camera same way sa ip5 nga naa nay shorcut sa lock screen.

bati mna diay ang android generally noh? haha dependent kaayu ko sa pagkauser friendly sa apple products. its my first time to browse sa android market, wa ko magdahum naay antivirus apps? none from itunes ug installous. so many complaints from different android users regarding compatibilty issues. well sakto rasad tungod sa kadgahan model sa android products.

so far all apps i have downloaded are running smoothly except sa others that need root.

the app killer, battery saver and app manager are good apps. every android user must have.

i also dont have problem sa physical parts except sa circuits niya because the housing, screen, buttons are available and perfectly same sa ip5 naa sa Kstar marketing sa colon. aw ang aluminum frame has slight diffrence diay kay ang sim nako is micro sim while and original uses nano sim so the sim tray are different. grabe nasad siguro ug magpareplace kag aluminum frame sa? nalumping kay naligsan? lol.

i also noticed difference sa android compared to apple. the wifi for android devices does not automatically cuts when device sleeps. apple items cuts wifi when not in use (ex: finish downloading and no screen . lahi jud ang product nga naa taas ug barog sa R&D. they deserve to be paid sa mga patent infringement issues. anyway battery saver app solved this issue so okay nalang sad.

so far payter kaayu, main use ani akong replica kay para pasuya sa friends, lol. dili jud ikalimud ang kanindut sa Ip5 gaan ug nipis na kaayu

-if you use Gmail native app for emailing do not use this phone, since there are not capacitive buttons to get to setting then you will not be able to create/compose emails you can only reply... any app at all the recquires the use of the standard android menu button is rendered useless.
-- Functionality of the home button are -- Tap Once = Back ; Press and Hold = Home

-ive had the phone for 1 month now... and we all know that on the original iphone the first thing to go bust is always the home button that why iphone users user assistive touch to avoid such issues... here you should be able to download one under google play store

-do not attempt to root this phone or well your on your own heheh

-do not believe what you see!! or hear about the specs!!! - i found out that this device is not quadcore!! and its running a fake ICS how did I know?? When I download Antutu Pro... Android version was 4.1.9 hahahah thats just hilarious..

-do not delete/restore to factory using android recovery or else you'll brick the phone, if you really need to then us iOS factory restore in the UI itself.. if inaccessible then Power Button+Volume Down and Home to get to ALPS Test UI then Restore there remember NOT ON THE ANDROID RECOVERY!!
