Inquiry on Atom D2700

anyone experienced using this product from Intel for a HTPC? mura'g nindot ni dah... i'm thinking to DIY one para HTPC nako dri... had eyed on the Soyo SY-D2700-U3M mobo... mao ni ai... price nya kay roughly 3.6k php equivalent...

if naa naka gamit ani'ng D2700, pwede mo maka hatag ug comment? apps would be, playing HD movies, watching movie streaming and listening to internet music only...

i'm gonna pair this one with the Jonsbo V3 chassis... ah, next month lang ko sugod palit siguro ug components ani nya...

been using this mobo for point of sales application. the problem I had these are tendencies to freeze momentarily when running multiple applications - media player and java supported apps. Max display resolution used 1024x768.

overall performance rating is good.

pairing it 2GB memory and 220watts PSU (premodefied by the chassis supplier).
One problem I got is the video driver does not support win xp or lower.

actually I haven't tried it using with higher resolution. I can't guarantee if it works better or worst. The only I can comment on this mobo is good for workstation pc (browsing and office works.) with its price range.

gma 3650 should be able to support 1080p-on specs.

read on other forums,not same brand though, bati nig video support. only Win7 32 bit. and even with Aero hapit d daw kadaug-magkamang.

mao lagi bro, phased out na sya... naa man newer Atom series... mas mahal gamay ang price tag... mas better ang offering sa AMD in this class ... mag research sa ko unsa ang bang for the money...
