ang ako processor krn FX4100.. so far ok ra mn kaau ang performance gi OC pa gani nako to 4.2Ghz. if for gaming ang inyo gusto, go for a powerful GPU.

dili man ni mabantayan kun dili ta mag benchmark. kun mag benchmark ta, mag sakit atoang dughan maghuna2x... hehehe... in real world use, dili nato gyud mabantayan ang difference nila... bisan 5 seconds pa even 10 in productivity apps like rendering basta lang, wla'y unit na lain sa duol na atoang ma gamit unya maka compare... we can wait dba?... kun naa'y lain PC na magamit, then, that's the time namaka compared ta then dili ta ganahan mo gamit sa slower PC. sa games pud, anything more than 40 fps for FPS games siguro, dili nata makabantay... even at 30 fps as a "minimum"... kumbati na... dili lang mo dip below 30 kay atoang mabantayan gyud sya...

kun asa ta malipay, kato atoang paliton... then don't play with benchmarking software para dili mag sakit ang buot... let's get contented on what we have at the moment kay in near future, mag upgrade naman pud ta... this is the reality in this hobby of ours...

the thread starter just ask about the amd equivalent to intel i3(i don't which version of i3 that would par to amd). As for me i think the FX4100 would be on par against the i3 Sandy/Ivy.

Just my own opinion lang ni ha kay basin matirhan nya ko diri. I think mas future pa kining FX4100 compare sa i3 having at all 4 actual cores rather than virtual core. Mas paspas lang jud ang IPC(instruction per clock or instruction per cycle) sa intel compara sa amd.
