I've been to their kinder & elementary schools nila sa US maghatod sa nephew.. Wala silay sikyu nga maghulat sa gate/door pareha sa atoa.. Before 9am, open rana ilang door & basically anyone can just go in.. Kasagaran manulod kay parents & guardians nga maghatod sa ilang kids.. Every time naa ko didto mo-gawas jud nas akong huna2x nga "what if naay buangon/pedo/criminal nga mokalit lang ug sulod..??" Inig 9am after the bell rings, mo-lock na tanan doors & if naay gusto mosulod like visitors, dpat mo-storya pa sa principal through intercom.. Pero wala gyud kay makit-an nga security mag lakaw2x ug magbantay sa entrance, murag responsibility na tanan sa teachers ang safety sa mga bata..

Pag highschool nako cge kog pamalikas sa sikyu kay di magpasulod kung ma-late.. But looking back, dapat thankful pa diay unta ko..
