QUESTION: Where can I buy that powder / paint clowns use for their make up?

Mag mime costume ko for a party. Can't use poster paint because it'll crack later. I tried buying this white powder at this store in downtown, they said it's the one clowns use but it didn't work. Not too white. Any ideas?

It depends on your budget. I recommend MAC liquid foundation pero 2k ang bottle. Ok pud ang l'oreal, at 900. I'd even tried fashion 21 at 150. Make sure you get the liquid type, and make sure it matches your skin tone (beige, natural) and a pot of thicker concealer for undereye circles of the same shade. Just make sure you use oil blotters to blot your face every now and then. Down swipe, tap it. Oh! And a powder to set it after you put on your makeup. Do not use anything that's too colorful or shines. The more matte your lipstick, blush are, the less shiny your face will look.

    Good luck!

now my problem is my make up doesn't "stick". i wear foundation but only if naai special event which is rare. so, powder ra gyud ako gamit. but now, dili na gyud mu stick ang powder. the last of my medication routine in the morning is moisturizer then sunblock. then i let it "sink in" for a few minutes, then powder dayun. but not even half an hour later, mu sinaw nsad akong nawng. i keep reapplying powder (once or twice within an hour) kai di gyud xa mu pilit but mu sinaw gyud akung nawng. if i feel like subra.an na ang powder sa aku nawng, i just end up pressing a towel to my face to get the oily look off nlng.

can anyone who experienced going to dermatologists please give me advice on how to apply my makeup?
I'm sure your face is clean kay you go to the derma. Sis, what I do is I add foundation to my moisturizer na. Tapulan na ko mag wait. Hehe! I just add drops of the foundation (i don't think powder foundations stay anyway) to the moisturizer and mix it. My moisturizer is now tinted. I use a MAC because it's worth every peso. Good thing, naa nay MAC sa Rustan's karon. The color is light and barely there, just makes you face look clean and fresh. Then I use a concealer in a pot.. I like using The Balm from Beauty Bar (its blends well sa eyes, it conceals anything! - even hickies!) Haha! Then you can just tap your powder to let it set.

You've invested a lot sa derma I'm sure, so buy nalang a better quality foundation. MAC gyud akon ma recommend. It sticks and it's light and good fir sensitive skin. There are so many shades to choose from so guaranteed gyud ka nga you'll get the right shade!

Pag try sa Rustan's. use their foundation pag 10 am.. If pagbalik nimo sa gabii kay "intact" guihapon sya, palita na! Hahaha!

am not sure if sakto akong pagsabot pero unsa nga powder specifically? haha sorry ignorante jud ko.. if you could recommend sa brand mas ok pud..thank u
I don't use powder myself. It's up to you. Ako I like the dewy effect sa skin kung wala powder. But if you want to, loose powder will do. Some recommend usin mineral makeup but I think it's just too expensive. Check watsons sa makeup nila, if you see a powder nga naa sa pot nga loose, mao na sya. Use a huge brush to tap it on your face.

Pero ako, I just prefer not to use powder since it feels lighter.

I use brow powder (christian ang brand 1300, from beauty bar) and cheap eyebrow pencils worth 20! Haha! Wala ko gagamit mascara, I think it's so sticky. To use brow powder you need to have an eyebrow stencil. Suggest nako kay mag visit ka sa beuty bar nya mag try on how to use it. Honestly, I draw my eyebrows on, so if I don't have make it's so light (because I bleach it!) Haha! (I use Sally Hansen face cream for that)

You can also do DIY and download stencis from the internet, just search it lang, or you can buy a stencil set also from beuty bar, I also saw one in SM for 250. Place it on your brow and just color in with the brow powder. In less than 2 minutes perfect na imo brows. To make it more dramatic, you use concealer sa sides so your brows will be noticable!

People always ask me how I do my brows because I can make it thick and change the arch shape if I want to. Tanan nako nga friends kay nag stencils na!

    EYEBROW STENCILS

copy, paste on word, make it bigger, then print. cut out the shape. use what's left as your guide. you can transfer it to a thick transparent plastic. good luck!
