uu di maau ang ang musimba sa mga santos.
kung tan.aw nim gitudlo sa doktrina sa Katoliko ang pagsimba sa mga santos..it would just mean that you need to do your homework.
wala man gani nimu 2baga akong pangutana.you answered my questions with questions instead.

we know Dr.jose rizal has a statue in Luneta Park..a person who really honors his noble cause...would visit his statue and talk to him as if he was alive give him flowers remembering what he did for our country...does it really follow that and maong tao nagsimba ni RIZAL?(answer pls)
key words there bai is HONOR and REMEMBERING.
if a pastor or bisan kinsa nga Christian being looked up to passes away( namatay)
knowing that person really led a Godly and exceptional Christian life...
and just in case because of that person's noble deeds..some of his friends and people he helped while he was alive
decides to put up a statue in honor and remembrance for that person...
does that automatically fall in IDOLATRY?(answer pls)
and while that person was still alive, people got used to asking Him to pray for them..
and when the same people happen to pass by the statue and talked to the statue(but we both know that it is not really the statue they were talking to but the image portrayed in that statue) asking him to pray for them to be closer to God...
does that mean nga they are worshipping the Christian/person portrayed by the statue?(answer pls)
if putting a statue in honor and remembrance of great poeple is idolatry
then might as well destroy all the statues we see including those who died for our country
if asking people whom we consider more enlightened more spiritually mature than us(priest, pastor, ate kuya..) to pray for us
is already worshipping them then WE SHOULD NOT pray for each other then..(agree?or disagree?)
so wala ko kasinati sa Holy Spirit kay magpa ampo man kos santos?
if not for God and His Spirit i wouldn't even be talking about God right now...
i have spent a great deal of time HATING God,church, tradition and religion before coming to know who Christ is
don't get me wrong bai ha, i respect whatever your thoughts towards us...whether we are lost or idolaters...
that's your opinion..again imu pud na..
after all, who is NOT Lost? even the most holy and Godly person alive today still sins...so who are we to say whose Lost and not.
the scope of idolatry is very broad, our families, friends, dreams, pain, struggle, pleasures,si n,feelings, pride, our plans even etc and even our RELIGION can be our idols too..whatever,whoever takes the rightful place of our Lord Jesus is an idol.
and whenever we consider God as a last recourse,2nd choice, last line of defense is already idolatry if you think about it.therefore, who'snot guilty with idolatry?esp in our thoughts.
lastly, kindly give me your insights about this verse:
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or JUDGES his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
James 4:11-12
