if you're not happy with your current job, bail. spend time with yourself (without doing anything nasty).

find another job. or spend more time in istorya.net (this is part of soul searching.)

and don't take anybody else's advice (not even this). deep down, you know what to do. do it.

my advise to your bro, is while you are there, if its really paying well (not sure how much) build your dreams with the money your earning.

ex: you really like to be a nurse, but you have bills to pay... and your current job supports your need, so stay there for a while...

so here's what you need to do, start saving.. and start applying for a nursing job abroad or locally, while you are there.. if you go for abroad, your current earnings will make sure that you will be able to afford your processing fees later. if you want to work locally your savings will make sure you will survive for xxx amounts of months.. until you will be able to find both a nursing job that pays well..

you cannot just quit your job, to go soul searching that would be irresponsible.. unless you have lots of extra cash right now.

at the end, dreams do not come true in one go, they come in multiple phases depending on your life's circumstance.

    thank you.

if money is your concern then start saving if you really haven’t figured it out yet.so that when you finally have the guts to quit, you have enough money to back you up while you look for another job/business.
i have a friend who quit his job last year.he wanted to back pack and travel asia.he saved his salary while still supporting his family two years before he quit.he decided that he's done with his call center life for 6 years.he realized he didnt have to buy this and buy that just because he liked it.he cut his expenses on things that he finds unnecessary. But he also was doing sidelines and still doing it until now to support his backpacking. So there, hope this helps

TS, try to redifine your vision and goals why you need the job and the pay..
and think about the possible consequences if you prematurely let go of it...
a lot of things to consider other than the fact that you are no longer happy with the job..
like savings, expenses, bills, people etc..
think it over TS, try to engage with activities outside work to kill the boredom..
plan vacations, try new things, got o the gym,try MMA...visit new places...like you said...ok ang sweldo...
    so ka afford ra ka...

after reading your post TS maka-relate jud ko. i've hopped from being a nurse in a clinic (kay RN man sad ko) to another job, to another job, to another. Some think nga sayon ra kaayo mu-decide nga mu-quit pero lisod bitaw kaayo esp if wala ka kbw if there is another job one can apply to. As of now I'm an HR officer somewhere and on my first few weeks of working here it was the first time in my life nga I felt I belonged and that waking up every morning is not a chore anymore bisan kbaw ko nga busy kaayo ko almost everyday. What I learned is sometimes we just have to take chances when they appear. Ako ni-suway rajud ko og apply pagka HR officer not thinking nga madawat ko pero sauna pajud mahilig nako og psychology and I pretty much enjoy being in an office working with a whole lot of paper which really fits well with my current job. Pero TS ayaw lang sa og undang unless you are willing to give up a whole lot of luxuries for the time you will be out of work, trust me lisod kaayo ang panahon nga wala kay trabaho. hehehe

Thanks. I know. One reason why I need an advice for me to know if whether or not the decision I'll be making later on is right, or not..

Like I said in my previous reply, I am not pursuing nursing. Got enough savings I guess, for now. Thought of quiting and getting a month of rest and doing things I want. In the event, ill be bored and be broke, it'll be another stressor perhaps for me to look for another well paying job. Maybe I am confident of doing this because I am young. I dont know.. Maybe..
