unless you have personally observed all sorts of evidences and proofs written and recorded in various books(whether scientific or religious)
then what you believed in is not based on faith.otherwise faith is not entirely a denial of observation or for a purpose of preserving a certain belief..and you are also practicing "faith"

I thought you said the bible could account for the creation of the universe? Now you're saying it's not a "scientific book". Wasn't the bible supposed to provide a legitimate set of explanations and truths about this world? Now it doesn't account for anything? What use is it then?
