yep. you read it right. download the Windows 8 upgrade assistant. it will tell you all the compatible/incompatible programs that can be used in windows 8. upgrade price is only $39.99 roughly around 1.6k FOR A NEW LICENSED OPERATING SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just upgraded mine without any problems. after downloading the software, please remember to burn the ISO to your DVD. now read this.... YOU CAN DO A CLEAN INSTALL WITH THE DOWNLOADED WINDOWS 8 PRO. in short, if you want to format your hard disk, you can still install Windows 8 PRO right away without the Windows 7.
