Yes i am sure of that, but forgiveness could never take away his guilt that's why he chose to commit suicide..

as a man full of conscience im sure nangayo jud to siya'g pasaylo ni Jesus though not directly, gabasol jud to siya'g dako.. so im pretty sure nga before to siya naghikog ug before to niya gibuhat ang pag traydor gipasaylo nto siya ni Jesus.. pero bisan pa'g gipasaylo it could never take away his guilt kay ang tawo nga mowagtang sa iyang guilt wala may konsensya, unless ug naay gaingon nya nga di sya angay maguol coz it was meant to happen somehow whether he likes it or not, nga necessary to iyang gibuhat para pag fulfill sa mga prophecies.. that would have been a happy ending in Judas' case..

Judas was prideful and rejected Jesus' Death on the cross. He could have lived and be forgiven and be enlightened with the Gospel of the new covenant. Just like Paul, Peter, and the other apostles.

Judas never had the faith as the other apostles but was a mere superficial discipleship ready to compromise his faith. He never relied on faith and looked upon Jesus for forgiveness but relied upon himself.

With the free gift of salvation that Judas rejected and committed suicide there is no other way to describe him but a fool.

Judas was never a fool. It was never revealed to him that it was his duty to blast treachery upon his master.. Judas' life ended in a sad demise.. He perhaps ended his life because he could not take anymore the guilt he felt..

one cannot Judge Judas and brand him a fool, for one does not know the conscious trouble that he went through, all the guilt, all the pain, forced into his weak little mind.. it is something a person cannot possible have bared..

Is an apology still necessary? in a Christian point of view yes, but we have also to take into account his predestined fate, that it was set upon by God himself, if that's the case then an apology from Judas is no longer necessary..

Judas was a member of the Zealot... the Jewish rebels who want to restore the throne to a Jewish earthly king.

He followed Jesus because he thought and expected he would be the earthly king that the Zealots waited. Unfortunately, Jesus' kingdom was not of this world.

That's why he was disappointed and sold our Lord. Later on, he realized his mistake that Jesus really is a God, that's why he cannot forgive himself of the burden of guilt, he killed himself.
