Hi there is there an animal charity that can help with a stray cat problem?? the resort im staying at is being over-run with strays and the owner wants them gone, his plan is to catch and drown the cats - i need to find someone who can dispatch the cats humanely

The most humane method is to catch and neuter/ligate young cats so they will stop breeding and the population will get under control. Several vet clinics offer this service free, you just need to pay for antibiotics. Catching and drowning cats is not only cruel, but probably illegal too. I would imagine that many potential tourists would be disgusted by such an action.
