It's so UNFORTUNATE, right? Mao na sya bai, the vagueness of things, the mysteries, therefore Protestants and Evangelicals should never condemn the Catholics regarding the vagueness and mystery of Transubstantiation during the Mass. They knelt down and worshipped Him because they believed he was the long awaited King and Savior as prophesied in Isaiah and other verses in OT. The story, along with the characters, still fell short of acknowledging and worshipping Jesus as GOD. Therefore, the act was done not because He was GOD, but because of His Kingship and being the Savior of God's Chosen People.

It's easy for us to forget that kings and rulers of the land during this time were being worshipped and knelt upon by their subjects.. You could see examples all over the OT and NT..

yep i'm with you about Kings being worshiped and feared almost as gods...
apart from that, Jesus was just a regular guy back then,,,i'm sure no people would worship regulars...
unless perceived to be something more...
i agree that people worshiped Him 'cause they believed He was the promised messiah
but if Jesus was not God but only a moral teacher, with His teachings about humility and being truthful always

It cannot get any simpler than that, Trinitarians worship THREE Gods and they can’t deny it.

Now of course Trinitarians have come up with dozens and dozens of laughable analogies to make sense of the Trinity.


Question to Trinitarian Christians:

Why, for thousands of years, did none of God's prophets teach his people about the Trinity?
At the least, would Jesus not use his ability as the Great Teacher to make the Trinity clear to his followers?

Is it really necessary to reveal everything who He is if gipakita na niya iyang pagkasiya? He made it taht way to attract more curiosity about who He really is....naang nindot sa thrilling part. Just like any prominent leaders when invited for a speech, sila ba mismo mo reveal sa ilang pagkataw? no its not but the host....same with Jesus Christ, iyang disciples maoy nakasabot kung kinsa sya, sila ra pud nag reveal sa iyang personality!

Sometimes it requires reason in understanding deeper things of God. Kung dili mo makasabot sa logic of course youll misinterpret what it means.

Let me share some few verses that plurality of persons in the Godhead was mentioned already in the OT. That God reveals himself in 3 distinct persons in history.

In Genesis 1:26 God (elohim) said “let us make man in our image, according to our likeness…”
those engaged in this conversation were all the same in nature and image. God could not have been speaking to any heavenly creatures because none of them possesses a divine nature like his. We know later there were Divine Persons.

Isaiah 48:16 “From the beginning from the time that it was, I was there: (1st person) and now the Lord GOD (2nd person) and His Spirit, (3rd person) hath sent me (1st person).”

Again, here we have three individuals existing together, the one speaking who states that He was there from before time (John 1:1). He refers to the Lord and states that both Yahweh and His Spirit have sent me, (the speaker). This goes perfectly in line with Isaiah 6:8 God, speaking to Isaiah: “Who shall I send, who will go for us.” Both the singular and the plural are used in the same verse.

It was David who wrote Psalm 23, the Lord is my Shepherd” Jesus quoting Psalm 110.

Matthew 22:43-46 He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying: 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool? If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his Son?" And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

These are the things why muslims are discouraged to criticize or even raised critical questions about their religion!
