The tires came Tubeless (it also means the wheels are mag wheels).
I choosed the Curve because of its unique practical benefits over the other scooters as listed below:
- It is the ONLY(in it's class in the Phil) scooter with 6 liter fuel capacity (fewer gas stops ).
- It is the ONLY(in it's class in the Phil) scooter with Flash button (No need to use the highbeam switch).
- It has the biggest floor board (in it's class in the Phil). Kasya ang LPG tank.
- It is the ONLY(in it's class in the Phil) scooter with centralized key system (one keyhole for the power, underseat compartment and gasoline cap).
- It has the brightest stock headlights in it's class..
- It has additional small lights on the steering heads (no need to turn on the headlights during the day for adiitional visibility).
- It has the widest storage compartment against other competitors.
- I like the stock rear view mirror.. it's really big and useable.
The only disadvantage against other scoots in it's class (e.g. Mio, Beat, Skydrive) is that it is not as fast. For normal acceleration, I can only top it to 90km/h.. With good momentum I get 93 to 95km/h. But it is sufficient for everyday traffic commuting and for me it is not really a big deal. If the additional 10-15km/h on the top speed(and loosing all the advantages above) is your cup of tea then do not get this scooter. Handling is also superb on the twisty roads (very fun).
Also after 2 years of release I still feel the exclusiveness of owning this scooter. A lot of people still don't know this scooter. Usually when I take this to gasoline stations, gas pump operators (gas boys/girls) still have that surprised impression when they see how the location of the gas pump entry is.
After using this for almost 5 times a week (with an average of 40kms everyday) for 2 and a half years already, it did not let me down and I did not experience a single breakdown. And by the way the instruments and ergonomics is still mint. Deterioration is very minimal like a Japanese scoot would..
My personal reaction: I LOVE this scooter. If this scooter gets old and I have to replace it, I would get the same model (provided that my needs are still the same). It DOES what a SCOOTER SHOULD.
*The design of this scooter is based on Kymco Freely. Infact, most parts of it came from Kymco Freely but I doubt everything came from Kymco. Later on.. Yamaha Thailand adopted this design and called it Yamaha Fiore .
Whoops! Big mistake regarding the year I got this Scooter.. I got this in 2010 and not 2009.. So I only have this scooter for 1 and a half years..

Thanks kau bro sa info bossing..I was having a second thoughts which scoot i'll buy..Kawasaki curve or yamaha Mio Smiley...Kawasaki Curve: Wala kaayo ko kita gadagan diri sa cebu(its a good thing) but in terms of spare parts kuyaw2x pa cguro wala pa kau aftermarket ani basin nya ma i.standby ang motmot(that's what im afraid of)..Unlike sa Mio taud2x na so sureball na makapalit raka daun og spare parts...Nindot sad porma ang curve gud...libog pa gamay..hehe..need more advice from you guys
kung practical ka nga pagka rider, go for this skut..
nice. karon ra ko kabaw anang 6 liters capacity.
So far mao panai kinadak.an og fuel capacity compare sa mio, beat,sd, and etc.
d man ni lisod pangitaan ug parts... Kymco.. takigawa.. na pa to usa racing parts na sakar ani nya...no offense sa honda parts are from china dali xa ma ware out. para nako ok ni uncommon nya lig on... para pod mo lungtad imo motoy adto sa service center jud sa kawasaki....if d ka tig lumba stock parts lang but if nahan kag adrenaline..you can go for other MC ig kaguba palit lang ka but if imong hunahunaon cge ka palit mas gasto hinuon kaysa kausa ra ka palit....just my 2centavos...wahihihihih
when it comes to durability and quality, way duda lig.on ni.
ang naka bati lng, kay wala pa kaayo ni mga after market parts compare to mio and other scots.
pero kung di ka hilig og modification good buy ni siya.
