Yeah, partly, basta IT-related, makuha gyud na sa certifications, project experience, and achievements.
But, ang lisod man gud ani inig sugod.
What if parehas ra gyud mo skills, and pareho result sa exam... Syempre, ang pilion sa nang-hire kay kato nalang gyud naay BS degree. That's if equal gyud mo sa imo kompetensya.

I partly agree.
Employers prefer experienced people (it depends). BS is a plus.
Skills is your ace. Others are optional. Don't forget confidence and GUTS
