...bro, ok ra nga setup as long as ang netmask ni fall sa /24 na subnet, i.e 255.255.255.0
...ang 192.168.254.0 na network na fall na sa resevered ip addressing scheme specified by RFC 1918.
...according to IANA, the that the following three blocks of the IP address space is for private internets:

• 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (10/8 prefix)
• 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (172.16/12 prefix)
• 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (192.168/16 prefix)

So, 192.168.0.0/24 is under consideration of reserved ip addressing scheme, a (classless inter-domain routing) (CIDR) addressing. So, meaning, ok ra na. I suspected ang issue ana is naa sa pag assign ug ip address.

sakto jud ka...so far ok ra mang ang assigning sa ip add kay, in da first place naka dhcp man cla...so far karon ok na, makakonek na cla, last nakong gibuhat gi.uninstall ang antivirus nga immunet...naa ka knowledge about ani nga antivirus?...

common error aneh caused by 3rd party software mostly mga antivirus which has its own firewall settings. disable any software that has something to do with network and firewall thing. then do the basic troubleshooting ping the gateway ping some of the ip address on the same network enable file and print sharing do windows update..join the pc to work group. if deli ghapon then it might be hardware issue.

mas mo agree pa ko ani..thanks...so far ok na man, akong gidisable ang antivirus ug off ang firewall pero observe pa ko...actually ma ping man jud ang unit if ang IP add imong e.ping pero if ang hostname sa unit, naay time dili ma ping....pero as of now, as i've said ok na hinoon...

case closed na diay ni.. firewall issue ra jud na. nahitabo pod na nako sauna sa amo. tungod nag install ko kaspersky internet security. then naa siya built in firewall nya mo block sa lan. ako gibuhat gi add ra nko ang lan as trusted/local network instead of public network sa iya default setting.
