planning to go there

Been there last december for our department christmas party and stayed ovvernite. Room is OK , mingaw sad during nite... but if compare sa other resort (not to mention ) . ako expectation wala ma meet...
1. Ask lang ko sa mamangement... wala naba daghan langaw if mag prepare ka sa food (outdoor) sa experience namo ...grabeh pirti dgahana langaw ... wala pa gyud mo assist pag paspas. Pero amo lang gi antos para ma enjoy lang ang groups...
2. food, wala me ni order kay medyo mahal so dili ko ka comment.
3. Water OK ra basta safe lang...so go for mineral bayd lang. Beach front ...ayaw lang yud mo adto if low tide or gamay ra ang dagt like december... dili ka au worth kay medyo daghan bato sa dagat...
4. Facilities-- not much... last decmber wala duwa anan like table tennis,,, volleyball... ang naa video k ra gyud
5. sa family trip.. dili kaau maka enjoy kay dagat ra gyud.. no pool.. in case low tide.
6. manag uyab OK kaau kay mingaw...

Sa ako lang ... dili nako balik didto...hope naa kausaban this year.

Thank you for your comments. Durhan White Beach Resort mgt appreciate it a lot..

I hope you also do understand that w/ it's affordable price, rooms are being designed to be able to suit basic needs of the guest (ie: bed, a/c, t&b, tv) while also being able to manage the expenses of the facilities.

1.) about the flies, this has long been an issue and mgt have already done everything in its power to minimize it however to no avail. For me, I've also been to a lot of resort and if mg prepare jd ug food naa mn jd langaw.. I think this has been answered before na sd and also, as of now the mgt is looking for answers on how to minimize the flies. As for assistance sa pg paspas sa langaw, mg lisod ta ana ky add'l ta ug labor pra lng mo paspas sa langaw considering nga affordable kaau ang resort.. I understand nga dghan ug langaw however if we think of it both ways as a customer and as a busines entity we can look for alternative on how to minimize the flies like asking a colleague or a friend for the meantime nga mg puli2 ug paspas sa langaw..

2.) Sa food. I still think food @ the restaurant of the resort is very much affordable compared to other resorts..

3.) Well, it's all but natural for the stones since its a beach and mgt wouldn't want to tinker w/ natural resources that are being bestowed in the property. And you just can't take away the white sand of the resort also.

4.) As far as I remember naa nmn table tennis, basketball court, billiard table and naa volleyball court sa beach front since I always visit the resort.

5.) For the pool, it's already being discussed by the board and they're still trying to iron out monetary issues.

I understand that you have a lot of concerns and hopefully the resort will be able to address it in the near future and I hope and will always be hopeful that you will not close your door w/ Durhan White Beach Resort.

been to this resort many years ago. Our stay was ok. we were happy because of the fact that we were one big group. was with family and relatives. I dont know how my family came up na didto mangadto. basta kuyog lang ko. I had no expectations when we went there. wala lang. but my recollection was that I didnt like it. I dont like the rooms. for me murag underdeveloped sya na resort hence hugawan ko and bati-an ko. and sa unahan , I dont know if part pa sa resort basta naay murag cave or dako ba to na bato sa unahan daplin sa shore, sus lu-od kaayo naa dako gyud kaayo na $#!+. my goodness. dili worth it labi na laayo kaayo. ok raman nang layo bah basta worth it lang gyud ang place. this was my experience.

Thank you for your comment and mgt appreciate it a lot.

As you have said, this was years ago. The place has changed so much since your last visit. And for the rooms, as I've posted in my previous post the rooms are designed for the guest' basic needs w/c is a bed, a/c, t&b, tv, & a cabinet. Hence, I don't call it under developed.

As for your other experience, I'll just leave it at that. Can't really please everyone. ☺

I don't think sikat ang Durhan White Beach Resort.. And I absolutely think its not because of this thread nga ni samot ug ka sikat ang resort since in the 1st place dli pmn cya sikat..
