PS3: Is it still worth buying? (bisan 2012 na)

I was really wondering if it's still worth buying a PS3 console.. kuyawan lang ko basin ma abot kalit ang PS4 haha so what do you think, guys?

Yes for me.

But I wish I could still get a FAT PS3 on tho (Nov. or Dec. this year)
Kana ug Slim 360 sad. Dunno which one I could get first (depende sa makitan una hehe)

I'd still get one even if in-ana nako ka-late ug purchase ug PS3. For me, dili man sa kung unsay uso gud mangawas nga dula akong gi-apas. It's the games themselves I'm after--not their release dates or which platform to be released. I like to play those games just because of the FUN factor they bring. I have not favored sides when it comes to game companies and the publishers nor am I a fan of specific videogame franchises. I'm just there for the games--so bisan unsa ra gyud akong tirada basta lingaw sa akoa. It really doesn't matter kung maluma na ang PS3 or 360 or Wii any console of today tungod sa kanang sa mga "next-gen." magawas, I always keep in mind that sooner or later makadula dula ra man gihapon ko ana nila tanan. I will have my chance--I'm the type of gamer that can wait (a 'thinking' gamer, kung baga)

Anyways, this is a really good question (thread)

If you think about it, the question itself shows the true character of an ISTORYAN gamer: either old-skool ba siya, latest gamer (sunod-sa-uso) , console loyalists, fans of a certain game, online player or just the every-type gamer (all-arounder). Answering it would reveal what kind of gamer you are hehe

I happen to be a cross between every-type and old-skool gamer.

Would love to hear the other guys here about their views on next-gen. consoles.

daghan nindot game sa PS3 ang PS4 la pa pero hapit na gawas, kung mogawas ang PS4 gamay pa nag selection i think gamay pa kag kapilian pero PS3 if u support authentic BD buslot jud bulsa nimo la pa jud ny labot sa mga DLC

it's not too late. wala pamn gani announcement when ang ps4 and sony just released the super slim. daghan pa kaau games maduwaan.

DLC - Downloadable Content

Pero OK naman sad ang Discs prices for PS3 sad oi IMO. Some shops have those below 1k games (Which I think is very reasonable) Kay sus wala gyud ni sa una: I remember an original PS1 or PS2 game costs 1.5k and up compared to the PS3 and some 360 and wii games of today. Wala gyud patawad ang presyo sa mga dula sa una.

And of course there's always the Buy and Sell section. As for DL-ed content well. . .depende unsay naa. hehe

And no bro derekoy, layo pa na mu-stop production ang games sa PS3.
Believe or not bro pareha ra na sa Wii: EVEN NBA2K13 was announced for the Wii FACT (google it). See?

if yes. you should get a PS3. dun look for the hardware. it's all about the games.
forget about backwards compatible with sony. it happened in ps2 and ps3 and all failed. so when ps4 arrives. it's ps4 and not ps3 or ps2

ako kung naa lng ko kwarta, why not? there's nothing wrong if you have PS3 and PS4 (in the future) sa imong living room.. the more, the mennier!
