Occam's razor teaches us that among competing hypotheses, the one which makes the fewest assumptions should be selected. There's no need for supernatural explanations when a natural one suffices.
At least Msgr. Kriekenbeck was responsible enough to take the rational stance. Cebuano credulity when it comes to supernatural stuffs is legendary. There's too much mumbo jumbo for our own good. It needs to be tempered and scaled back, not enhanced to the Medieval state.
Your quote is coming from english version, sa super balita ni akong above article. yes you are correct there was no possession but an "Infestation".
As per
Selfa Hu, a member of Kriekenbeck’s team, told reporters yesterday the possession was caused by an “infestation” of a nature spirit.
She said one of the students reportedly levitated during the exorcism rites.
If you can read my thread title, there's no word "possession" only in the news.
Infestation of spirits is different from Demon Possession.
ang naka catch lang sa akong attention is ang claim ni Selfa Hu nga, ni levitate ang victim..
