i would like to ask if i can use Windows Xp and Windows 7 at the same time as client pc's for WINDOWS SERVER 2012?

bago kaayo na nga server OS sa Microsoft brod, pero sure ko sa windows7 nga pwedi jud na, ambot kaha ang Xp, kay e end na bya na nila nga OS brod.

...yes bro, but not all GPO policies are able to tailored by Windows Server 2012 base on what you have expected to the XP workstations, it is because, XPs are considered Legacy. The new features sa windows server 2012 at the GPO layer will fully functional lang sa mga current release versions na mga workstations such as Windows 8. Pero pwede na sila ma join together in 1 Domain hosted by Windows Server 2012.

...FYI, dako naa kaaU ug difference ang pag-manage sa Windows Server 2012 kay sa mga legacy Servers. Now, being systems administrator i think it must have a full skills of powershell, kay in here sa Windows Server 2012 they encourage jud to use Powershell as faster, reliable, and flexible tool to manage sa AD/DC.

...like, kung naka-manage nmo ug Windows 2008 Core (R2), in Windows Server 2012 you will find easier and convenient sa mga text mode / command line lover.

actually sir mas gipadali sa MICROSOFT and pag manage sa win svr 2012... as in aus na kaau ad2ng sept 18 gi launch na sa manila ang Win Svr 2012 hopefully by Q1 or di pa ma end ang year i launch napod na dri sa cebu i will give you all heads up kung kanus-a ni hehehehe... daun kung mag upgrade ka sa win svr 2012 be sure lang gyud na kaya sa machine kung di man gali naa man pod downgrade pro sayang ang license nya.. hehehe mao rana ako sir...

...i would suggest based sa imong specs to go for the Windows server 2008 R2, then 3 years after if you already familiar with windows server 2012 then go for the upgrade then. just always play safe jud kay lisod kaaU mo-dive ka then wala paka ma-sweto sa Windows server 2012 sa pag-manage and maintain, or else windows server 2012 would be your biggest headaches kung magka-trouble. Don't think na sayun ra ang AD/DC infra. Lisod jud kaaU.

nice bro, if maka config gani ko ani nga windows OS, pm nya ko nimo ug mag lisod ko config, kay nana man kay idea ani gamay. wala pa ko ning suway ani.

...i've tried to setup Windows server 2012 RTM version which i have downloaded from microsoft website for demo purposes, to promote into DC lang daan, dili naka mo-gamit ug dcpromo, this tool has already been depreciated from this version. There are two ways to promote one is to use the poweshell and the other one is to use the Server Manager thru wizards. then naay mga precautions ug naa say sequence sa pagpromote ang nausab, So kani palang daan we need jud ug study thoroughly. We might not get determine the issue right away kung magkaproblema ning Servera. I tell you the worst first kay gikan nko ani nga experience as in labad jud kaaU befoe ka maka-learn on the next thing will come around.

nag ilis na pud jud diay sila bro, naa man ko ge pang maintain nga server, pero 2003 ug 2008, mag test nya ko ani, pwedi pa kaha ni siya mag test ta sa virtual machine lang sa. diri sa akong desktop. para maka suway pud, mag download sa kog demo ani.
