calm down.. there's no use making such heated argument here.. stop accusing those PC's(chika's and all baseless, or if true as if your telling all PC are doing all that), as if NPA's dont have there own mass genocides.. communist was surging from the end of WWII. and its not because of marcos..

during marcos time was the time of full-time war with the communist (even before marcos was president), then i think in 1971 when saudi implemented and oil embargoes.. thats when jobs got lost, economies melted down, rallies almost everyday, and so on

i even thought even if it was not marcos was president..the other would be president at that time would still implement martial law.
