Pre, the Waco Texas massacre was a result of a raid by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and firearms on a ranch owned by a cult named The Branch Davidians. Since cult members were suspected of carrying weapons and reports of child abuse. There is no direct connection to the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter day Saints (aka Mormons).
